Happy Filipino American History Month!
Mabuhay! Join us for a private art night with dinner at Kalye in celebrating Filipino American History Month as we paint and pour our Pinoy pride into beautiful one of kind abstract art paintings. Special menu items with be cultivated for this event! Seating is limited! RSVP now to save and pay for a seat! All painting supplies and dinner are included in payment. After submitting your RSVP, you will be emailed with more information about the event and how to pay for the event.
Art Supplies Include:
acrylic paint
a set of paint brushes and a paint palette
12″ X 12″ stretched and primed canvas
a personal paint easel
a sponge brush
scissors
stencils
various painting tools to create depth and texture
painters tape (using painters tape method)
water jar
paper towel
black painter’s apron
a sharpie (to sign artwork)
gloves (optional)
Price: $75.00 per person
This will include a package deal with all art supplies included, an appetizer and drink (mock tail), main entree, and dessert! Dinner and art! Sounds like a divine Thursday night! This will be a two hour session from 7 PM to 9 PM.
How the night will go…
You will be creating a one of a kind abstract painting using acrylic paints, painters tape, and canvas. These art sessions are designed to allow the participants to have creative freedom to interpret the night’s theme (which is “What is being Filipino mean to you?”) through artistic expression. Each participant will have a painting unique to them.
Instructions will be provided at the beginning of the art session. I will announce the night’s theme, in which you will be able to interpret however you would like. I will go over some basic color mixing, examples of abstract artworks, and painting techniques that can be used. I will be free and moving about to help out whoever needs aid.

This is art made EASY for you and me! All skills sets are welcome…and remember…there are NO MISTAKES in art! We are here to have a great time, make beautiful memories, and enjoy delicious Filipino cuisine!
