Tsismosas Art Collective: “Pangarap; Speaking Dreams Into Reality” Debut: May 2024 (Our 1st Show)
I am over the moon and honored to announce that I cofounded an ALL FEMALE, Filipina art collective, with five other multidisciplinary sister artists in May 2024! This has been TWO years in the making and a lifetime dream to establish an art collective! The BONUS is we are debuted as a new art collective during AANHPI Heritage Month and in one of the greatest art cities in the world: NYC!
“As a collaborative group of Filipina artists based in NYC (Lenapehoking-occupied land), each with diverse artistic backgrounds, our mission is to empower, inspire, and shed light on the often marginalized narratives, struggles, and histories of AAPI/BIPOC communities through art exhibitions, inclusive community gatherings, and innovative creative initiatives.”
