LIP DRIP

Lip Drip Art Series is an ongoing mixed media art series focusing on different ways to portray lips and mouths, using acrylic paints, movement painting methods, such as splatters, drips, painting throwing, acrylic pours, paired with mixed media collaging of different materials. I wanted to do an art series that combined my love of collaging with bright, neon colors. There are particular parts of the body that I love to draw and one of the facial features that I love to draw besides eyes are the lips, mouth, and teeth. Besides the eyes, I feel the mouth can be incredibly expressive and convey a plethora of emotions.
