Organized Chaos

Organized Chaos Art Series is a compilation of my abstract artwork that’s heavily influenced by one of my favorite abstract expressionist artists, Jackson Pollock. Jackson Pollock is known for his “drip” technique or “action painting” while creating his masterpieces. This technique is a method of painting that over the years I have grown to love, always finding great healing and release through. The freedom of being able to release energy and emotion by throwing paint onto canvas and wood panel, with no thought, but using all heart and the movement of my body continues to be one of the most thrilling, therapeutic, awe inspiring, and emotional experiences I have encountered as a painter. It’s one of my favorite methods of painting and this series of abstract artwork is something I will continue to add to, for years to come. Among the splatter, splashing, pouring, and drips of vibrant colors, I combine the clean cut, organized negative space using the painter’s tape method. I see my personality in this series, the calm exterior with raging emotions inside. These paintings show the colorful disarray of random, raging splatters and drips hiding beneath organized, poised negative spaces. I felt “Organized Chaos” was an absolutely appropriate name to give this ongoing series of abstract art. Below I present you the artworks I put heart, soul, energy, and tears into. I hope you can find healing and wonder in these pieces as I did while creating them!
