OutPour

“OutPour” Abstract Art Series is a compilation of my acrylic pour art on various materials such as canvas, wood panel, handcrafted buttons, accessories, and much more. “OutPour” describes my art process when it comes to my acrylic pours - an “outpour” of my emotions. This is definitely in the “action painting” realm for me. I have also grown fond of this type of movement painting. These pours allow my emotions to guide me in the moment - none of my acrylic pours are premeditated in any way. I chose the colors in the moment and what speaks to me, then I allow myself the freedom to move, experiment with different tools (butane torch, straws, yarn, blow dryers, oils, rubbing alcohol, bottle tops or bottoms, etc.) to create different flow patterns as I rock the material I am using for my acrylic pour, back and forth. This too, is therapeutic and cathartic. I find great comfort and peace while I do my pours and I am always in great anticipation on what I produce. I do hope you admire my creations below - they were a joy to experience and create.
